Types of timber vanities we make

  • Timber vanity tops and benchtops: a solid hardwood top for your new or existing cabinetry
  • Complete vanity units: solid timber cabinets with drawers, made to your size
  • Floating and wall hung vanities: a clean, modern look that opens up the floor space
  • Single and twin basin vanities
  • Waterfall edge vanities: the top flows down the sides in one continuous grain
  • Matching timber mirrors

What makes our vanities different

Every vanity is individually handcrafted from solid Australian timber and built to last. We use traditional box joints on the drawers, and the entire drawer is solid timber. We never use veneer or thin, flimsy board for drawer bases.

For waterfall edges, we cut the top and sides from a single slab so the grain flows seamlessly from the top down the sides, and we join them securely with lag bolts.

Choose from a range of Australian hardwoods

Red cedar, blackbutt, tallowood, silky oak, red gum, she oak, brush box, blue gum, bloodwood and more. We’ll help you choose the right timber for your bathroom based on durability and colour.

All our timber is air dried and then kiln dried to 10–12% moisture, and we keep slabs ready to go, so there’s no long wait. Vanity tops are finished with tung oil to bring out the natural character of the timber.

Basin cut-outs

  • Option 1: send us a template of your basin (it can be posted) and where the cut-out should go, and we’ll cut it before delivery.
  • Option 2: the cut-out can be done after installation, by us or your cabinetmaker or builder, to guarantee the exact position.

Project: Blackbutt twin bowl vanity

This 2000 × 550 × 450 mm twin bowl vanity is made with custom box (finger) joints and solid timber drawers. The drawer bottoms are 6 mm solid timber rebated into the sides, and the Blackbutt drawer sides are dovetailed into Blue Gum. Box joints also form the cut-outs for the plumbing. Soft-close drawer sliders and a Blackbutt drawer face finish it off, oiled to bring out the character of the timber.
